Susan Nonhof

Susan Nonhof joined TechServe Alliance in December 2023 as an Account Manager, bringing a uniquely varied background and a client-first mindset to the team. She holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from Ferris State University, though she’s quick to note that her most valuable lessons have come from the work itself.
Susan’s career path has spanned academic libraries at Central Michigan University and Ferris State, where she supported Interlibrary Loan operations, and the newsroom at The Pioneer in Big Rapids, where she processed photos for print and captured stories in the field — including a memorable barn raising on an Amish farm. Most recently, she managed accessioning at a medical laboratory, handling test data entry and sample preparation, and logged countless overtime hours supporting the lab’s contract with the State of Michigan during the pandemic.
At TechServe Alliance, Susan is energized by the chance to immerse herself in a dynamic new industry and explore its many layers. What drives her most is the satisfaction of delivering real solutions for her clients.
Outside of work, Susan enjoys movie nights, gatherings with friends, and spirited game nights at home. Her love of cats shines through in her volunteer work at a local shelter and in the company of her three feline companions — Trip, Smitty, and Nudge. Family is at the heart of her world, especially her adult daughter and two grandsons, whom she cherishes deeply.
