ComplianceHR SmartScreen™ already empowers TechServe members to screen employees and track their vaccination statuses. Beginning next week, ComplianceHR SmartScreen™ will also provide forms and workflows to help employers handle request for vaccine accommodations. Additionally, employers will be able to include a customizable question for unvaccinated employees, to ensure that they are following company COVID-19 testing policies.
The Food and Drug Administration fully approved the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination on August 23, 2021. As several clients begin requiring vaccinations for in-person staff members, ComplianceHR is working on a solution in the SmartScreen™ application to support these new challenges. Despite the trend to mandate the vaccination, there are still reasonable accommodation requirements to consider, which SHRM outlines in this article.
According to Littler’s COVID-19 Vaccine Employer Survey Report, employers are educating their employees, offering time off for potential vaccination symptoms and rewarding their employees for receiving the vaccination. The new features in ComplianceHR SmartScren™ will make executing these programs much less of a burden on your HR and administrative team members.
